Our house at the Adriatic coast
The "La Scaletta" is situated in a quiet area of Rovinj, in the near of Hotel Park, the sea is 200 meters away, the historic old town with its high bell tower and shopping in the streets along the waterfront promenade, about 150 m. A few doors from the "La Scaletta" enjoy some of the very fine restaurants, with the typical Istrian and Italian specialties.
These are in a radius of 200m located next to the small harbour. Here you can find the moorings of traditional boats, a day - or a half day, discover the inviting coast line and beautiful places to explore , for example, Lim - Fjord, Porec or the famous Brijuni Islands.
In the port of Rovinj , you have ferry boats crossing every hour to take you to some beautiful beaches, which are situated on Red Island and Katarina island. Red Island also has beaches for naturists.
Rovinj offers extensive sports facilities, such as great tennis facilities only 500 m from the "La Scaletta".
There are also fun bike trek routes, or by foot if you wish, looking out to the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea . Approximately half an hour away is the Villas Rubin sports center, with outdoor swimming - adventure – water slides, tennis, volleyball, go - carting, mini golf, etc.
